Named for the Bell Tower atop historic College Hall, the Tower Honors Program is the signature course of study for academically talented students. When students join the Tower Honors community, they become a part of Lake Erie’s long tradition of intellectual inquiry and scholarly excellence.

Built on the theme of Vistas and Ventures, the Tower Honors Program guides students as they navigate a path to personal and professional success. With an emphasis on self-reflection, communication effectiveness, integrative thinking and applied learning, students take rigorous classes, engage with their peers in discussion and research, participate in rewarding internships, and chart their course for a fulfilling career. This journey culminates in an Honors Capstone project that reflects their interests, major, and career goals.

Available Scholarships
Lydia Sessions Honors Scholarship. Named for the first president of Lake Erie College, the Lydia Sessions Honors Scholarship in combination with other Lake Erie College scholarships and grants, including state grants, will cover full tuition and fees for up to four years. A maximum of seven awards will be granted annually.
Anna M. Edwards Honors Scholarship. Named for the second president of Lake Erie College, the Anna M. Edwards Honors Scholarship will cover $2,000 annually for four years.
