To advance environmental sustainability within the LEC community by acting as a catalyst for information exchange. LEC will enable a sustainable campus atmosphere that focuses on energy consumed, resources utilized, and indoor and outdoor environmental stewardship.
LECSC VISION STATEMENT:
To educate, inspire, and engage the Lake Erie College campus community and involve all
faculty, staff, and students to create a more environmentally conscious community.
To invigorate the sustainability of Lake Erie College operations and facilities.
To create partnerships with external community organizations in order to educate the local
community and individuals.
To pursue credits and funding for sustainability programs and opportunities.
To set realistic and achievable goals that are proactive and enhance our campus community.
